1. What this covers

This policy covers the website at roosta.app. The Roosta mobile app does not use cookies at all — it stores your alarms and settings in the app's own storage on your device, which is described in the Privacy Policy.

2. What we store in your browser

Only one thing, and only if you change it yourself:

• Theme preference — if you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in local storage (not a cookie) so the site does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit. It contains a single word and never leaves your browser.

That is the complete list. There is no session cookie, no user identifier, and no third-party script setting cookies on our behalf.

3. What we do not do

• No advertising cookies, and no advertising anywhere on the site or in the app.
• No cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels, no social media trackers.
• No data brokers, and no sale or sharing of personal information.
• No fingerprinting as a substitute for cookies.

4. Analytics

This website currently runs no analytics at all. Nothing measures your visit, which is the real reason there is no consent banner — not that we found a clever way around one.

If we add analytics later it will be a cookieless, aggregate measure with no persistent identifier, and this page will be updated before it ships. The Roosta mobile app is separate, and it does use product analytics — that is documented in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we honour it.

5. Changes to this policy

If we ever add something that does set a cookie, this page will be updated before it ships, and a consent mechanism will be added at the same time. The date at the top of this page reflects the last real change.
